The Komandor Glass Partition
A Komandor glass partition is an interior glass wall made to measure for one room — an aluminum frame LUMI partition wall, a frameless glass screen, or a sliding glass room divider. Every panel is cut to your measurements, made in our Mississauga factory and installed by our own team, and the frames are available in a variety of colours.
LUMI partitions anchor to floor and ceiling in a slim aluminium frame. They are demountable by design: no framing, mudding, painting or electrical rework, and a layout that can change later. A glazed wall keeps daylight moving through the space and reduces sound between rooms, so a home office, dining area or gym stays part of the open plan without being open to it.
Manufacture takes about 14 days from your deposit, and most installations are done in a day.
Glass partition screens start at $700 and single swing doors at $1,650. Prices are for the product only — installation and delivery are quoted separately.
What happens after you reach out
- We review your project. A designer looks at your details — space, product type, timing — before anyone calls you back.
- We respond within 1–2 days. We talk scope and budget — straight answers on options and realistic pricing.
- We book your free consultation. At the Mississauga factory showroom, the Vaughan design centre, or in your space — measurements and design ideas included.
- We measure and quote — in writing. Your design consultant takes precise measurements and you approve an itemized quote: component prices, drawings and lead time. We can also show you a preview of what your project will look like in your own space. Plant-made goods are manufactured in about 14 days from your deposit.
- Our own team installs. The balance is due upon installation.

How long does it take?
Manufacture is typically about 14 days from your deposit — 21 at most — and installation by our own team is usually done in a day.
Does installation disrupt the room?
LUMI partitions anchor to floor and ceiling with a slim aluminium frame, so there is no framing, mudding, painting or electrical rework. Panels arrive finished from our Mississauga factory and are secured in the room, and most installations are done in a day.
Do I need condo board approval?
Rules vary by corporation. LUMI partitions are demountable interior walls that anchor to floor and ceiling without structural changes and never touch demising walls, which is typically what boards want to know. We can supply the specifications your property manager or board needs to review.
Who measures, builds and installs it?
One Komandor team, end to end: measured in your home, manufactured in Mississauga, and installed by our own crew — nothing subcontracted, one team accountable for the fit.
