Why we publish our prices
Nobody else in the Toronto partition market publishes pricing. We can, because we are the manufacturer: Komandor designs, builds and installs every partition from one Mississauga factory — see the full glass partitions range.
The quote you get is itemized and free: a complimentary design for your actual space, a precise on-site measure, and one team accountable for fit from factory to install. We can also show you an AI-generated preview of the design in your own space. Already have a spec in hand? We will price it as designed.

Ranges are from our published 2026 LUMI price guide, before tax, on a standard build; GTA delivery and installation is quoted per configuration. Your exact quote is confirmed after an on-site measurement — and typical installation is about 14 days from your deposit, 21 at most. We publish that too, because nobody else does.
What moves the price
- The door: the biggest variable — none (screen), swing (Light), privacy swing (Heavy, with its larger jamb and integrated doorstop) or sliding. See the ranges above.
- Size & panel count: swing doors run to 39–40″ wide and 98″ tall (118″ with a transom); sliding openings span 30–116″; screens reach 118″ tall in panels up to 39″ wide. More panels, higher range.
- Glass type: clear laminated is the standard; tempered, frosted, fluted and architectural glass step the price up.
- Frame finish: black matte and anodized are standard; custom powder-coat colours add cost.
- Hardware & jamb: LUMI Heavy’s larger jamb with integrated doorstop and upgraded hardware price above Light’s passage setup.
Typical budgets by project
- Condo bedroom or den enclosure: a sliding-door conversion or screen-plus-door layout typically lands in the $3,000–$7,000 range + installation; a fixed zoning screen alone starts from $1,650.
- Dining room → Home office wall: a swing-door partition wall usually sits in the same $3,000–$7,000 range; add a LUMI Heavy privacy door from $2,200 + installation — its integrated doorstop seals the gaps for client-call privacy (~24 dB).
- Statement walls & Commercial office fronts: wide multi-panel glass walls scale to about $12,250; Aurora, TAW and acoustic wall systems are quoted per project from your floor plan.
Every price covers complimentary design, manufacture in Mississauga and a 2–10 year warranty depending on project type — up to 10 years on custom residential work; installation by our own team is quoted separately by size and complexity. Matching interior glass doors are priced the same way.

Glass partition cost FAQs
Are glass partitions cheaper than framing a drywall wall?
Often comparable or better once you count the whole job: a demountable glass wall needs no framing, mudding, painting or electrical rework, installs in a day or two, and comes apart if you move or reconfigure — drywall is single-use. A framed partition from $1,650 is usually competitive with a finished, painted stud wall with a door once all the trades are counted.
Prices are product only; installation quoted separately.Do you price glass partitions per square foot?
No — pricing is per opening and configuration, not per square foot. A partition is a manufactured unit (frame, glass, hardware, door), so two walls of the same area can price differently depending on doors, glass type and system. The ranges above cover the complete opening — frame, glass, hardware and door — with installation quoted separately.
Is condo installation priced differently?
The product ranges are the same. Condo jobs are planned around building logistics — elevator access and working hours — during the site visit, and the made-to-measure approach handles bulkheads and tight tolerances without surprise costs. Installation and delivery are quoted separately by size and complexity.
How much does the door choice change the price?
It’s the biggest single variable. A framed partition with a swing door starts from $1,650; a Heavy door — larger jamb, integrated doorstop, better privacy — from $2,200; sliding doors from $2,050. Sliding runs on a ceiling- or wall-mounted track, single or double, usually with no bottom floor track, and can be mixed with fixed screens for wide openings. Wider multi-panel walls scale from there.
Prices are product only; installation quoted separately. What’s included in the price?
The made-to-measure unit from our Mississauga factory, on a standard build, and a 2–10 year warranty depending on project type — up to 10 years on custom residential work. Published prices are for the product only, before tax; delivery and installation are quoted separately by size and complexity. We can also show you an AI-generated preview of the design in your own space.
How do I keep the cost down?
Three levers: choose a fixed screen or single swing door over multi-panel walls, stay with standard clear laminated glass rather than architectural or specialty finishes, and keep the opening within standard panel sizes so no custom engineering is needed.
How long until my partition is installed?
Typical installation is about 14 days from your deposit — 21 days at most — because every partition is made in our Mississauga factory, not imported to order. We publish our lead times for the same reason we publish our prices: you should not have to book a consultation to learn them.
