Custom Built-In Wardrobes

Komandor designs, manufactures and installs built-in wardrobes for homes across Toronto and the GTA. Replace freestanding furniture with a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe wall — built to your ceiling height, your storage mix and your budget, and installed by our own team from our Mississauga factory.

The Solutions

Made in Canada for over 20 years

Komandor builds custom built-in wardrobes across Toronto and the GTA — floor-to-ceiling, furniture-look storage fitted to any wall, for bedrooms and rooms that have no closet at all. Sliding or hinged doors in glass, mirror, and panel finishes, made in our Mississauga factory and installed by our own team.

Sliding or hinged doors

Sliding doors need no clearance in front, ideal for tight bedrooms and condos. Hinged doors give full access to the interior in one sweep. Both come in glass, mirror, and panel finishes — see closet & sliding doors.

How it works

  1. Consultation — we review the wall and how you’ll use it.
  2. Measure and plan — precise measurement and a fitted layout.
  3. Manufacture — built in our Mississauga factory.
  4. Installation — installed and finished by our own team.

Built-in wardrobe FAQs

How much does a built-in wardrobe cost in the GTA?

Built-in wardrobes typically start around $3,500. Cost depends on the wall size, doors, and internal fittings you choose. Published prices are for the product only; installation and delivery are quoted separately by size and complexity. Because every wardrobe is custom, we confirm your exact price at consultation. The full price ranges are published on the custom closets page.

What’s the difference between a built-in wardrobe and a closet?

A built-in wardrobe is fitted storage against a wall for rooms without a closet; a reach-in or walk-in closet uses a recessed closet space. All are custom-built to your room.

Can a wardrobe be built floor-to-ceiling?

Yes. Built-in wardrobes are designed to your ceiling height for maximum storage and a seamless, fitted look.

Are sliding doors better than hinged for a wardrobe?

Sliding doors save space in front of the wardrobe, which suits tight rooms and condos; hinged doors give wider access. We help you choose based on the room.
