Frosted Grid takes the classic windowpane look and softens it: sliding panels of frosted glass laid into a slim black aluminium grid, screening a home study behind a luminous, geometric plane while keeping the room bright.
The frosted glass hides the desk and shelving for a calm, private study, while the black grid keeps the crisp, steel-frame look that suits the home’s layered, collected interior. On its track the partition slides open to fold the study back into the living room, then closes to a quiet workspace — privacy and pattern in one move. Bar pulls and even grid spacing keep the operation and the look clean.
Frosted Grid is built with Komandor’s LUMI system — tempered frosted glass in slim aluminium framing, manufactured in Mississauga and installed by Komandor crews across Toronto and the GTA, with grid spacing and frame finish specified per project.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a windowpane partition also be private?
Yes — filling the grid with frosted glass keeps the steel-frame look while screening the room behind.
Will frosted glass keep the study bright?
Yes — it passes daylight while obscuring detail, so a closed partition stays luminous.
Can the panels slide fully open?
Yes — they slide clear on the track to reopen the study to the living space.
