Beacon brings a soft threshold to an open plan: reeded-glass double doors in slim black aluminium set between the living and dining areas, closing the rooms off just enough while letting light glow through the textured glass.
The reeding blurs the view between rooms into a warm, luminous pattern, so closing the doors defines each space without darkening it, and the black frames keep the look tailored and modern. Swing them open and the plan reads as one continuous room.
Beacon is built with Komandor’s LUMI system — tempered glass in slim aluminium framing, manufactured in Mississauga and installed by Komandor crews across Toronto and the GTA.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why use glass doors in an open plan?
They let you close off a zone for quiet or heat while keeping the space feeling open and light.
Does reeded glass offer privacy?
It obscures detail while passing light — you see shapes and glow, not specifics.
Can the frame colour be changed?
Yes — frame finish is specified per project.
