- We book your free consultation. At the Mississauga factory showroom, the Vaughan design centre, or in your space — measurements and design ideas included.
- We measure and quote — in writing. Your design consultant takes precise measurements and you approve an itemized quote: component prices, drawings and lead time. We can also show you an AI-generated preview of the design in your own space. Plant-made goods are manufactured in about 14 days from your deposit.
- Our own team installs. The balance is due upon installation.

The Komandor interior glass door
Interior glass doors are built in two families. Sliding doors run on a ceiling- or wall-mounted track, single or double, usually with no bottom floor track, so they span an opening without needing swing clearance. Swing doors hang in a slim aluminium jamb and read as a true room door, to about 40″ wide and up to 110″ tall depending on weight, or 118″ overall with a transom panel above.
Frames are finished in black or in other metal colours, and the glass runs from clear to frosted, reeded, fluted and tinted, in tempered and laminated safety glass. A closed door carries useful sound reduction between rooms while the daylight still crosses — roughly 24 dB with a LUMI Heavy door, which has a larger jamb and an integrated doorstop, against roughly 15 dB with a Light door.
Every door is made to measure in our Mississauga factory to a tolerance of 1/32″ and installed by our own team — one team from first sketch to final install, with no handoffs. Komandor has manufactured custom interiors in the GTA for over 20 years: European style, Canadian quality.
A framed glass partition with a single swing door starts at $1,650. Prices are for the product only — installation and delivery are quoted separately. Work is covered by a 2–10 year warranty depending on project type, with up to 10 years on custom residential work. A consultant confirms the opening on site before anything is cut.

How long does it take?
Manufacture is typically about 14 days from your deposit — 21 at most — and installation by our own team is usually done in a day.
Does installation disrupt the room?
Very little. The door arrives finished from our Mississauga factory and the track fastens at the head of the opening, so there is no framing, drywall or floor work. Most installations are finished in a day.
Do I need condo board approval?
Rules vary by corporation. A door is an interior alteration that makes no structural change and never touches a demising wall, which is typically what boards want to know. We can supply the specifications your property manager or board needs to review, and our installers work within your building’s scheduled work hours.
Who measures, builds and installs it?
One Komandor team, end to end: measured in your home, manufactured in Mississauga, and installed by our own crew — nothing subcontracted, one team accountable for the fit.
