Somm encloses a wine room in gridded glass: black-framed sliding glass doors that seal a temperature-conscious cellar while keeping the collection and its marble island on full display to the lounge beyond.
Clear gridded glass turns the racks into a lit feature wall and holds conditioned air inside when paired with a cooling unit, while the black windowpane frames tie the room to its exposed-brick surroundings. The doors slide wide for service and close to keep the cellar sealed.
Somm is built with Komandor’s LUMI system — tempered glass in slim aluminium framing, manufactured in Mississauga and installed by Komandor crews across Toronto and the GTA.
