OVER 20 YEARS
From a Toronto cabinet, closet door, and partition shop to the GTA’s custom interiors leader
Founded over 20 years ago as a Toronto cabinet, closet door, and partition shop, we’ve grown into one of the GTA’s most trusted names in custom interiors while keeping the thing that built our reputation: one expert team, from first sketch to final install, no handoffs.
The engineering heritage is European — Komandor Canada is part of the Komandor group, founded in Europe in 1992 and headquartered in Poland, the hub for all of Europe and the export hub for 30 countries. Another 12 countries sell Komandor products under their own domestic brands — 42 countries in all. The craftsmanship is Canadian: precision aluminium systems, premium hardware and glass, serving thousands of homeowners, condo residents and commercial clients across Toronto and the GTA every year.
TWO LOCATIONS
Factory, warehouse and showroom in Mississauga — plus a design centre in Vaughan
Everything happens at 863 Rangeview Rd in Mississauga: the factory that builds every order to measure, the warehouse that keeps parts in stock, and the showroom where you can walk through full-size installed partitions, closets and doors. We also keep a second showroom in the north end of the GTA: the Improve Design Centre at 7250 Keele St, Unit 87, Vaughan, open Wednesday to Saturday 11:00–5:00 and by appointment Sunday to Tuesday. Drop in to either, or call 416.677.4977 — consultations run at either showroom or in your space, anywhere in Toronto and the GTA.

How we work
- Consultation — at our Mississauga showroom, the Vaughan design centre, or in your space. We measure, listen and scope the project.
- Design — our designers produce drawings so you approve exactly what will be built. We can also show you an AI-generated preview of the design in your own space.
- Factory build — panels, frames, doors and fittings manufactured on European CNC equipment in Mississauga.
- Installation — our own installers complete and inspect every project before handover, backed by a 2–10 year warranty depending on project type — up to 10 years on custom residential work.
Commercial projects add complimentary layout drawings, shop drawings and panel samples within a week, WSIB clearance and $5M liability coverage — see commercial glass partitions.
Every system is built with ISO-certified European components.
How we photograph our work
Every image in our galleries begins as a photograph of a real Komandor installation. We stage the room around the real product — furnishings, finishes and lighting change, and the product is never altered — so you can picture the solution in more rooms, styles and lights than one photoshoot could capture. Every staged image carries the credit line “Install photo, digitally staged.”
We can provide a preview of your own project the same way: your space, staged, before anything is built. A preview like this is not a 3D rendering — it shows the look, not the measurements.

Komandor is a Canadian manufacturer, designer and installer of custom interiors — glass partitions, closets, wardrobes, interior doors and fitted cabinetry — founded in Toronto over 20 years ago and based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Where is the Komandor showroom?
Our factory and showroom are at 863 Rangeview Rd, Mississauga, and our second showroom is the Improve Design Centre at 7250 Keele St, Unit 87, Vaughan. Consultations are available at the showroom or in your home, condo or workplace anywhere in Toronto and the GTA.
Do you subcontract manufacturing or installation?
No. Design, manufacturing and installation are all handled by our own team. Your project is measured, built in our Mississauga factory and installed by Komandor staff — one team, start to finish.
Is your work under warranty?
Yes. Every project carries a 2–10 year warranty depending on project type — up to 10 years on custom residential work. Every installation is inspected by our team before handover.
