For builders: the quote is a promise
The moment is always the same — the project is sold on a render, and the partition in it hasn’t been sourced. Import it and you’re quoting months of lead time; have it welded and the budget multiplies. Komandor is the third option: engineered aluminium-and-glass systems manufactured in Mississauga, with dimensioned shop drawings inside a week and plant-made goods manufactured in about 14 days from deposit. Our own crews install, coordinated with your other trades — and if anything needs adjusting, the factory that made it is in Mississauga, not overseas. Commercial credentials come standard: $5-million general liability, WSIB-covered crews and dimensioned shop drawings on request.
For designers & architects: a library, not a catalogue
The finishes library runs about 60 panel decors, 19 glass textures and more than 20 back-painted colours, with black matte, natural anode or custom powder-coat framing — enough range to hold a concept without compromising it. Send the drawing set and we return dimensioned shop drawings and spec support; physical samples are in your hands inside a week.
The Mississauga showroom — and the Improve Design Centre at 7250 Keele St, Unit 87, Vaughan — doubles as a client-meeting space: walk your client past full-size installed partitions, closets and doors instead of swatches, with the factory that builds them on the same site.
The trade program
EuroSelect is Komandor’s program for builders, designers and architects who specify or purchase regularly. Terms and project support are discussed in conversation — bring a live project and we’ll price it. We publish our residential pricing openly in the glass partition cost guide, so you’ll find quoting us fast — and your client can check the same numbers you did.
Specified, awarded, procured
LUMI has been shown at Toronto’s Interior Design Show since at least 2020 and, in the company’s words at the time, was “extremely well received by the interior design community” — it has been specified in more and more projects in the city since. On the residential side, Komandor holds Best of Houzz 2025 for design, three earlier Houzz service awards and more than 10,000 ideabook saves. On the commercial side, our roster includes projects for PCL, Broccolini and Canderel. Recent collaborations include a smart-glass office program with a Toronto fit-out firm and residential partition work with a Yorkville design studio — named case studies available in conversation.
